Watchmen put WB's balls back on the mantle. WB has given Nolan as much freedom as he wants, but I highly doubt that they would allow him to kill off Batman/Bruce Wayne, not when there's a slight possibility that they could throw more money at Bale to have him return and Nolan possibly produce. They've made tons of money off these films and Bale; WB is still a business, and they're not going to forclose completely on this version of the the Batman name.
Anyways, I think it would be kind of an eye roller if he dies. The people of Gotham should be able to take back their city without some hamfisted metaphor.

I have no idea whats going to happen. I am interested in how Bane gets injured and has to have the anesthetic gas so he can survive the pain. NO venom but seems he wont feel any pain.
