Star Wars has audible explosions and huge fireballs in the vacuum of space. I wouldn't worry about it.

I mean, throughout the Star Wars canon spaceships "fall" when they are disabled/blown up. Is it accurate according to our physics? No. But it is consistent within the Star Wars Universe.

Lightbelts. They used to not be regulation, but after a terrible accident, Darth Ralph Nader did what he could to make sure they were required in all light speed ships.
