I'm currently on Netflix, which is fine because it has most of the TV shows I want/need to watch, but was wondering if Amazon or the new Redbox service has a better selection?

Amazon
you should get prime just for the free shipping and the videos are just a bonus.

Redbox
I tried it months ago when it was beta and it was god awful. Might have improved, but netflix is still top dog in my book

The short answer is
NetFlix > Amazon > Redbox
The long answer is
NetFlix and Amazon have close enough libraries, but the Amazon Prime interface is bad enough that I have both and use NetFlix much more. The only reason I use Prime is for the handful of titles that they have that NetFlix doesn't. But overall there is a lot of overlap and if you already have Prime for the shipping, you don't NEED NetFlix, but it's nice to have.
What I've read about RedBox is it has a similar movie selection but NO TV shows. Since you say you watch a lot of TV on NetFlix, RedBox shouldn't even be a consideration.
