The big reason I hated season 6 at first was that the dynamic between Dean and Sam was just so wrong. Annoyed me to no end. Once you discovered why Sam was how he was, I honestly opened up a lot more to that season and the following one. Excellent acting by Jared IMO.
Maybe 6 and 7 were trashed so much here and my expectations were way low, allowing me to enjoy them.
