Interstellar. For some reason I didn't go in theaters and saw it at home on a bedroom TV.

The first time I saw The Matrix was on a TV hanging from the ceiling of a party bus coming back to Dallas, from Houston. We left, and it started playing, around 11:30 pm. The volume was down so low, I couldn't hear most of it, because the majority of the people wanted to sleep. I could still tell it was an amazing movie, and couldn't wait to see it in the theater.

It was a CD my company's PR guy got from a Dallas TV ad sales rep before it came out at the theater. That PR position didn't make that much money, but it had lots of fringe benefits.
