The NFL team storyline is so lame. Right now I like Hung 3 times as much as Entourage and probably anybody with a brain in their skull would agree.

I'm trying to figure out why you think this. I watched Hung all last season, and decided to give it a try this season, but like the above poster said, it is boring the crap out of me. I'm just curious to hear why you like the show so much more than Entourage.
I think Entourage has sucked recently as well, but the chances of having an episode that entertains me are way higher than Hung.

I enjoy Hung because it's a character driven show with real issues that occur everyday in modern American families. I care far more about Ray and Jess than I do about any dipshit on Entourage. I care more about Ray than I do most any character on TV right now. Maybe that's weird but I just totally buy into him fighting through this horrible down period in his life. Maybe I identify with his side business because I have a "shady" side business in my life as well.
Ray is America - like it was said on end of the last episode. I also find the lack of product placements on Hung refreshing.

Why exactly is turtle needed? Couldn't the tequila baron just pay Vince? If Vince said no, then he could try to get Turtle to change his mind. Meh.
The football plot is just asinine. A new stadium would cost about 1 billion plus 1 billion for the team. 20 million per person in that meeting would get Ari about 20% of what he actually needs. This plot is horrible.
The writers should never have promoted Lloyd. The new assistant / Ari dynamic is boring as hell.
When Sloan is on screen the show becomes even more boring which is saying something.
This show is a shell of the first few seasons. Almost no jokes that hit and plots more boring than paint drying.

So you yawn at my explanation for liking Hung more than Entourage, then proceed to back me up for 300 words?
Entourage exists solely for lame/awkward celebrity cameos and blatant product placement of "hip" new companies trying to appeal to young 20-somethings.
It annoys the shite out of me. I watch because it's like eating Skittles for your brain with the hot chicks and cool cars, but it's really a bad show right now.

My problem with Hung is it seems like they are phasing out the best character, the rich lady pimp. While I root for Ray, I don't really ever feel like anything is in jeopardy in his life. The rest of the characters have the opposite effect on me. I hope terrible things happen to the kids and the ugly pimp. The storyline following the exwife and her new husband doesn't interest me one way or the other.

these threads pretty much suck every week, about 3 people talking about the episode, and about 30 people saying how bad it sucks and that they don't know why people watch it

I pretty much have stated each week exactly what I don't like about the plot.
