Three Broadway Girls with Joan Blondell, Ina Claire and Madge Evans.


A 1932 pre-code classic, remade twenty years later as How to Marry a Millionaire with Marilyn Monroe, Betty Grable and Lauren Bacall doing the part previously played by Blondell.

I've watched several Joan Blondell movies over the past few weeks. She's a fabulous actor who never received the accolades she should have. (She was nominated for best supporting actress in 1952's The Blue Veil, but never won a major award.)
