I'm just now starting it, on Ep 1

Any opinions before I go down this rabbit hole? Should I stop now?

Episode 1, I’ll watch. Can’t hurt. hope for the best. The story fits a miniseries well. If they try to string it out over more than 1 season I’m afraid it will become wearisome.

It starts out with promise, but tails off after that. It’s more of a reimagining of the original story than a remake of any previous movie version. The pacing of the series is very reminiscent of The Walking Dead. I hope they have a second season since they explain very little.

First episode wasn't bad. I got it on Epix channel on a free weekend. If it's not free next weekend I am not motivated to subscribe.

The initial attack is very well done. After that, things slow down considerably, which is to be expected I suppose, as the series focuses more on the survivors than the actual invasion.

Just finished E1.

Solid pilot.

Going to watch E2 tomorrow.

Pretty much a Gabriel Byrnes fan.

Please report back. I’m willing to try to find it online and follow the series. I enjoyed the first episode on the free weekend.
