yeah and sometimes when a clean cut guy knocks your teeth down your throat, blows up your house, and hotwires your car you have to reevaluate what constitutes a 'badass'.

The Jackal--good one. Bruce Willis was so cold in that movie.

Also, Geena Davis in The Long Kiss Goodnight--definitely badder than Samuel L. Jackson in that one. And of course, Samuel L. Jackson in Pulp Fiction.

i've always found the clean cut guys to be more bad arse imo. they can wreck your shite one minute, then be on their way to a wedding the next.

Jason Bourne fa sho. Dude can kill you in so many ways its crazy. His escape skills, combat ability, and overall knowledge of EVERYTHING badass is crazy. Bourne takes the cake in my book. I think it makes him more badass that he looks like a normal, clean-cut guy. He doesn't need to be creepy or crazy to be a badass. He is just a goddamn killing machine.

Major fail!

James Bond kicks "The Jackal" arse easy.

Geena Davis? Puh and lease!

Anybody who gets killed is not a badass fwiw. Badasses never die!

I realize that and my post made it seem that I meant that, but it was for those who were posting "badasses" that ended up dying.

But Geena Davis is not a badass in any way. Tell me which badass listed on here she could whoop?

Bruce Lee, Dirty Harry, James da Bond, jason Bourne, Conan(was he even listed?)? I think not!

Ok, as long as you're being rational. What I meant was Geena Davis was badass in that movie. (She's usually somewhat flaky, I'll give you that.) No, she can't compare to Bruce Lee, who could wack you before you knew it, Dirty Harry, who would just pull out a gun and shoot you, or Conan, who would cause an earthquake wherever he walked (Arnold at his biggest?).

Now, Jason Bourne had a similar character to Davis' (assassin/spy/whatever), plus he seems pretty smart.

Bond-meh, a lot of cool gadgets get him out of tight spots. Is capable of being a good fighter. I'm a Bond fan, but I haven't seen the latest movies w/Daniel Craig so I can't comment on those.

But couldn't I (being Dorothy, a chick) just have this one chick badass? The only other one I saw listed was the girl from Underworld, and she was a vampire, wasn't she?

Yes you can, but I think the Underworld girl was badass in many ways.

What was that movie where some woman was captured by the French and turned into an assassin? She was pretty badass! The original I mean.

Yeah, Le Femme Nikita. I don't remember the original character, but she was pretty tough. It's been a while, but didn't she die in that movie?

No offense dude, but I've never seen someone so defensive over a movie character. Your attitude is like, "What?! You don't like Jason Bourne?! Oooh let's fight about it." Just seems kinda strange to me. Is Matt Damon your mancrush or something?
