Those WB and UPN sitcoms that no one watched until they were on Adult Swim:

Mission Hill
Oblongs
Baby Blues

I'd love to know how WB got their hands on the series above. All three had potential and laid the grow work for "alternative cartoons" that we now see on Adult Swim.

WB and UPN went through so many series so quickly... Mission Hill was pulled after two episodes aired, then pushed back to being a Summer replacement series for four episodes before they pulled it off of the schedule for good. Most of the episodes sat on a shelf, unaired, until Adult Swim put them on.

Parks and Rec. Not sure how I never watched it, but last April I started it on Netflix bc I had heard so much about it. It didn't take me long to finish probably my favorite sitcom of all time.

Well of course. There's THE WIRE and then there's all that other shite that isn't THE WIRE.

I never even heard of Terriers when it was originally aired. Watched it a couple of years ago - great show...shame it only lasted one season.

It couldn't last

because if it had succeeded, then the Terriers win

I started watching the sopranos a month away from its finale. Ended up buying all the box sets and binge watching them and got caught up the night before the the last episode.

Similar story as breaking bad except it took me a little longer since there was a wife and a newborn in the picture
