Glee wrapped me in with the Britney Spears episode which was really cool. Took me the whole rest of the season to realize I didn't like the show.

The Shield is a show I let go of and I still don't know why.

Sons of Anarchy-B

Watched every episode of Sons of Aharchy through season two and loved all but the season two finale. Combination of season two finale and stupid plot lines of season three caused me to just quit and never watch again.

Shows that I watched regularly and really liked and at some point the show (A)just wasn't doing it for me or (B) became too retarded and no longer entertaining.

Grey's Anatomy - B
Private Practice - B
Glee - B
Sons of Anarchy - B
Bones - A

Shows I've abandoned at least temporarily for other reasons:

Breaking Bad - I started watching on Netflix then got swamped with my other regulars. I have every intention of picking this back up though when I have the time.

The Following - I'm not sure I ever really "liked" it. Casting had promise. Went to shite quick.

Dexter - Totally abandoned it after the Trinity Killer season. I've heard it's gotten back on track and is wrapping up so I'll probably pick this one back up as well.

Crime shows such as Law & Order SVU, CSI Miami, and regular CSI are ones I watched for multiple years and just quit because I didn't have the time anymore.

I too watched Glee for about a season and a half before I couldn't take the music and the over-the-top message of it anymore.

I watched all of these shows for at least a season, and really liked all of them for a time. Some of them I would still describe as "great" or among my favorites. I just noticed they had stacked up on my DVR, and once a show got to "(8)," it just seemed overwhelming to catch up. Ended up never watching them. Others I just realized I didnt like anymore.

ER
Nip/Tuck
Glee
American Horror Story
Treme
Boardwalk Empire
The Office
Weeds
Parks and Rec
Community
It's Always Sunny
The Big C

Why is Ryan Murphy so well represented on my list?

Has been on top of its game this season.

agreed.

I quit watching Community after I learned how little the cast cared for Chevy Chase. Something about watching a group of people act opposite a man I KNOW they hate and don't get along with turns me off. Only because it's a comedy. I think.
