I thought the second season was awesome.

And dont watch Game of Throwns. Its for D+D basement losers.
Holy shite this post is bursting with failure. I don't even know where to start. I'll just answer the OP:

I stuck with it through 2 seasons only because of David Simon's track record with The Wire and because it's about NOLA. I'm still waiting for something interesting to happen. It's just a bunch of uninteresting stories that don't really move forward or connect with a random mix of music scenes that don't advance the plot at all--kinda like the music videos during episodes of Beavis and Butthead only not funny.

After two seasons I've decided to give up. The show does nothing for me. Every episode is a chore to get through. It's not gonna get better and I just don't care about any characters or stories in it enough to keep watching.

While not awesome, it was pretty good IMO. I like the show even if others hate it.

Not great but its different from anything else on TV so naturally people will hate it.

The OP watched the first episode and thought it was OK at best and wondered if it got any better. I firmly believe that if you weren't totally enamored with the first episode it is not worth your while to invest more time in it in the hope that it will get better and you will enjoy it more.

I couldn't get through the first season either. The whole time I just thought, "I went through this storm, it was mostly boring then and watching it all over again with the minutia of the day is still boring now."
