Just finished the latest season, it's the last "reality" show that I really watch now. The wife and I started watching season 1, and very little has changed. That's a testament to the quality of contestants and judges they've had over the years. My kids started watching it this season, they got into it.
Also, the show hasn't skipped a beat going from Padma to Kristin. Kristin, besides being an awesome chef and past winner, really cares about the contestants and their future success. Tom, same thing, he hasn't rested on his laurels over the years.
And shout out Gail's huge rack.
Love the show, hope it keeps on keeping on

Massimo was fricking robbed because they couldn’t send all males to the final!

I generally agree with all of this, but Top Chef Texas had some disastrous challenges
One that I recall and still hate was when they had to get a bike, get ingredients then walk into random people's houses/kitchens to cook. How the hell does that help you determine who is the best chef?
I think this season was one of the better ones recently. Some seasons I don't think they do a good enough job of building a relationship between the chefs and the viewer. I liked a lot of the chefs this year so you become more invested.

My wife watches this, and I'll occasionally catch an episode with her.
I was a little let down when I discovered Padma was replaced by an Asian lesbian with a giraffe's neck. But Kristin seems to be doing a good job.
