Just watched based on OP- I loved it. Best I've seen in a while, for sure.
In retrospect, that was a really strong year for movies overall: The Shape of Water, Lady Bird, Phantom Thread, I Tonya, Call me by your name, Dunkirk, Darkest Hour... It's really a shame none of those went a year earlier because it would've saved us from the disaster that was the 2017 Oscars

This movie baffles me. It's like AI watched The View for a decade, and then was tasked with writing a script. No one acts like a human being, there are zero consequences, and the resolution to the movie literally made me say "what the hell is going on here?" out loud in the theatre. This is my go to "what movie did everyone like that you think is tripe?" movie. What is wrong with you people?
