If you love Snyder, you'll at least love the look of the movie.
The movie has some really cool stuff going on, but the narrative can get lost, especially if you haven't read the book. I would watch the movie first, and then let the book flesh it out for you if you like it.

I really enjoyed the movie. Good story and it kept moving even though there were some slow parts.

1.If the watchmen was so bad why do you defend when someone says its good.
2.The watchmen was the best superhero movie other then darknight ever made.
3.If you can understand the message,then you might understand the movie and might know it doesn't suck.
4.Argue with me as much as you like and you will find out why this movie is so great and start loving it all again.

I agree. However, Preacher would have to be either a mini-series or multiple movies. I would love to see the chaos that would ensue if their was a movie ending the same way as the Preacher series.

FWIW, I thought Watchmen did as good as a job as it could in capturing the visual aspects of the graphic novel. I agree with a previous poster that the source material has lost its edge.

Maaannn... I liked it. 
But then again I've completely disregarded SFP's opinions on movies since he started a thread about how unrealistic Shoot Em Up was.
