They can't just end it like that! Wtf is gonna happen to Damon? No way he can die but how can he survive a werewolf bite?
And what about Jenna? She goes from not knowing anything about vampires and werewolves last week to being turned this week
I was shocked Stefan didn't try to do anything to keep Elena safe from Klaus.

No vampire can survive a bite from a werewolf so Damon is toast. Elena will be sacrificed during the ritual so her storyline ends. Stefan will be so grief stricken over Elena's death that he will kill himself. Tyler will kill Caroline during his werewolf rage. Tyler will be so smitten over killing his true love that he will kill himself. And Jenna won't survive the transition to a vampire. Thus, they will have rewrite the entire plot to accommodate this incredible deviation from the books.
Klaus will be come a super vamp/wolf and rule the world as a lone dictator assisted by his vampire and werewolf minions. He will keep Katarina as his concubine to torture at will for eternity.

can't read this yet--don't want the spoilers (watched the draft and dvr'd vamp diaries. The draft was over way too late to catch the show afterwards. It was like the freaking Oscars!)--will catch up tonight!

whoa, major happenings this epi! That's my Damon, always stirring the pot. Well, I see we're gonna finally find out how to cure a wolf bite... also, how is it that no one has managed to inform Bonnie that sh!t is going down? I didn't see her lurking... And with a entire globe full of vampires, the best idea Klaus has it to make a new one? Okay... 
Poor Jenna--it's akin to the whole Alaric was just getting into his SUV and the next thing he knows, he's being possessed by Klaus... what a way to start a Wednesday...

I just caught up last night. I hate cliffhangers!!!!
ok, first off, I love how they all know that Damon is going to screw things up. When Klaus left the bar....Ric tells him "you're going to screw it up, aren't you?"
That was a pretty quick turnaround w/ Matt (sudden blank...Caroline's bf...Matt, right?) but I'm glad he did come around and realize she's still Caroline. Also, very quick forgiveness of Ric by Jenna. So I guess we are to assume that she has been caught up on the whole situation. I wish they would have actually showed more of her learning about all this shite going on around her.
Next episode will be intense. What's gonna happen w/ Jenna? What about Elena since she should be turning too? What about Damon? I need some Damon in my life....they better cure him.

Nice call. Makes sense to me. If Bonnie has enough collective witch power to kill an Original then surely she can come up with a cure spell for Damon.
One thing that bothers me a bit with the plot is if Klaus is such a badass, why does he seem so reluctant to kill Damon and Stefan. Klaus states that he figured one of them would interfere with his plans so why not kill them both and be done with it? Maybe Klaus was thinking he might need one of them for the ritual? The plot led us to believe that he might have used Damon if not for his Werewolf bite/infection.

I just feel like Klaus will be the key or involved in a big way in saving Damon.

That SOB Elijah!!! I knew he wasnt to be trusted. The bodies of his family have to have something special about them for him to save Klaus.
How bad arse was Bonnie?
I'm not upset at all about John, it was time for him to go.
I can't imagine the finale next week being better than tonight's episode. Damon better survive!

Going to re-watch it before I comment. I didn't catch what Klaus said that made Elijah stop and not snatch his heart out. Instead he ran off with Klaus and saved him and the curse is lifted. Looks like our heroes are going to be in deep doodoo.
