Anyone else watching this on Netflix? I never got the chance to watch it when it premiered on AMC a few years ago so I was excited when I saw it that it was now on Netflix.
I really enjoyed it. I loved the cinematography, setting, and costumes. It is very chilling at times.

Thoroughly enjoyed it until about 3/4ths in and it went all Lost on the viewer....wish they had ditched some of the stupid fictional narratives in the book and went full rudder on historical.

the concept of ice freezing around a ship and being marooned for the winter in the artic circle with only the food you have on board is absolutely horrifying to me.
the fact it actually happened even moreso.

I watched the first episode based on a rec from here, and I really liked it. Girlfriend didn't, so I haven't watched any more than that yet.

The first season was great. It 's an anthology, so season 2 is a different cast and story. I watched about 3 episodes of season 2 and couldn't get into it.

First season is awesome. Loved it.
Second season lost me by episode 1 or 2 and I gave up on it.

Man, that was the best show I've ever seen that I couldn't wait to end. Lived up to its title for sure. Just brutally dreadful. Incredible acting.
