I loved it. It’s extremely preachy, but I thought it was an intense flick.

Also...

(Spoilers)

Girl at the end wasn’t real.

Dude, you have to start either using some punctuating or slowing down while typing.

from the kook director.
quote:

What do you envision happening after the events of the film? Will the message be received?

GALDER GAZTELU-URRUTIA: That’s something that you should ask society. It’s up to all of us .… It depends on whether we want to remain the most miserable species that have ever set foot on this planet or if we want to …

makes me dislike the movie even more. push for socialism.

I was moderately entertained by it, but overall it's a a pile of hackneyed shite pretending to be deep and thoughtful.

It's basically one of the weaker Black Mirror episodes with worse acting and more forced shock value.

Basically the movie was exactly the same as the toilet paper situation of March 2020

I watched it tonight and felt that the premise was unrealistic. The idea that there is some finite food source given to all humans as though we are at the school cafeteria is fundamentally flawed.

The movie kind of makes a blanket statement that there are finite food sources, and yes, it's finite. But without competition between companies - the science and research required to learn modern farming, mass production lines of canned goods, sustainable water sources through filtration, and many more things that have made food less scarce would never have occurred. Poverty and starvation would be 1000 times worse than it is today. If there were no economic benefit to the investors and companies who developed those technologies they would not have sought out ways to make things better. This is one area where I side with the capitalists, through and through.

Overall it was entertaining though, just a little bit naive and elementary.
