Can't figure out whats my favorite Nolan movie, Oppenheimer or interstellar.

Oppenheimer is probably a better movie, but I think I enjoy interstellar more.

Either way, Nolan is easily my favorite filmmaker of this century.

Just got out of the theater on a rewatch. My oldest son was 5 when this came out, so I took him. Definitely picked up on some details I didn’t notice on my first 3 watches 10 years ago.

One that jumped out to me was the Miller’s planet departure with Romilly saying “goodbye Ranger” after he closed the hatch and the screen fades to black for an instant. Small things like that.

It’s striking how well it holds up. This generation’s 2001: A Space Odyssey. Glad we’re here for Nolan, practical effects/props and IMAX.

Yeah, I meant to say he's the best filmmaker of this century.

He's definitely my favorite filmmaker of all time as well
