This is a horror movie on Shudder (I think exclusively). Thai language film that is a folk horror movie about demon/spiritual possession. It's very atmospheric and has good overbearing horror, but isn't necessarily scary. Has some gore and general gross acts, so it's not a family film.
It struck me as very similar to the Wailing (which is an incredible film), and when I read the Wiki after viewing I saw it was written by the same guy. These rural-Asian settings are perfect for movies about spiritualism and demons. This is much more horror than the Wailing but both are slow and deliberate (this one is about 30 minutes shorter and glosses over the family drama while the Wailing spends more time fleshing out the character and family).
Highly recommended. You have to absorb this one and feel it, so don't watch it distracted.

That was a weird arse movie 
. I liked it, but it just got crazier and crazier throughout and had some really disturbing/disgusting scenes. I enjoyed it for the most part, but I prefer the slow-burn of The Wailing instead.

Oh the Wailing is definitely the better movie.
