The Imperfects (Netflix)

The name of the series is apt as it's very "imperfect". I started watching it because I was bored enough to click on a Netflix recommendation, I kept watching it hoping the few good sparks would burst into something worthwhile, it never did (see also: Titans).

The concept is a good one and the character development writing is worthwhile (in regards to how they react to their powers), but that's about it.

Having a young, healthy and somewhat attractive cast of "victims" is completely understandable due to the overall story, but we end up with almost every "brilliant geneticist" being attractive and in their mid/late-20s and almost every even semi-regular character being sub-35.

That alone drags me out of the story. The only way you're going to have so many highly accomplished, attractive people in various occupations at such a young age is if it's a porn movie.

This was pretty much CW-level casting and acting. Avoid it, your time will be better used doing chores around the house/yard.
