I'm watching Apostle now. It's pretty crazy. Great cinematography.

Apostle was pretty good.

Watching The Haunting of Hill House now. Pretty basic horror so far. Interesting casting choice for young Hugh Crane. Timothy Hutton and Henry Thomas look the same age lol.

Just finished episode 3. The character building on the hot lesbian sister and the lore around what she sees and can do is really really well done. I'm hooked now.

It starts off really slow ... but it has potential. Going to give it a couple more episodes before deciding.

I'm on episode 4. ALL character development. Jumping back and forth from flashbacks. It's a good show, but it's all development atm. I'm guessing they're doing all set up in the first half, then get to the good stuff in the second half. Not that I'm not liking the character development. I think it's really good.

Stuff is finally starting to happen at the end of episode 5 and into episode 6. Great job establishing the characters. They spent a LOT of time lol. This is a good show.

I'm kinda getting an "IT" vibe with the way the story is being told. Good stuff.

I like horror movies but I don’t like torture. May be a bit too much torture in this one. Talking about Apostle.

There's a couple of parts that are a little rough, but it wasn't that bad. It wasn't nearly as bad as I was expecting. It wasn't even as bad as Saw.

Are you sure? Because if that’s the case I may check it out tonight.

I just watched Jigsaw last night and no, it wasn't as gory as that.

This was really, really good. I think some people are not going to like it though. It's a slow burn till the last episode. But man what a powerful episode. All of the build up from 9 episodes made the last episode all the more meaningful as well. All of the stories and paths come together for a very impactful closing.

As I said though, some will not like it. IMO, it's more of a thriller/drama with horror elements. It focuses a lot on the characters individual stories and purposes. It kind of reminded me of how Lost relates to Science Fiction. It focuses less on the history of the house, and more on the characters. There are still some scary moments though for sure.

Anyway, I loved it. I thought it was great. It's a great story told wonderfully.
