Watched the first season of this series yesterday and I have to say it was well done. If you like the Airbender/Kora series you should enjoy this one too. It reminded me a bit more of the Last Airbender in terms of the characters and style, good humor.
My only complaint was that the season was a bit short, but otherwise it was solid.

I am hoping the season is short with the next one being released relatively soon like they do with voltron.
Seems to be a building a big world they can explore and hit different elements with each season like they did with the last air bender.

I wrapped it up last night. I then thought to myself “when’s the second half of the first season coming out” and turns out that was it. It’s my only major problem is it felt like half a season and not a full.
But it has a lot of potential. We’ve only seen one kingdom and met the Moon Elves, where there are 5 different human kingdoms, 6 Elf kingdoms, and at least one dragon kingdom. But yeah it definitely reeks of Avatar.
And Crackpot theory (and I think I’m correct): the king actually isn’t dead. Sure that was his body that was killed, but I think what the lord did was trade the king’s bird’s soul for the king’s and then planted the king’s soul back into the bird. And since Ezran can talk to animals, we should find this out.

I’m several episodes into Book 2. Anyone else up to date on this show? Enjoying it thoroughly so far.

Netflix, you say?
That sounds about right.

My son really enjoys it. I've dipped in and out to watch a few with him but I haven't seen them all. The new season should be out soon but I don't think there is a date yet. Looks like they are at comicon in June so I am guessing we get a date then.
