What the frick??
what I said in response to another well put statement is just what a comicbook superhero movie is. If you can't understand that they are people out there that take these type of movies far too serious(and evidently some on here) don't know what to say. I don't understand some of you people. It can't be explained any simpler than what I said and others have. If you can't comprehend that than you must be denser than a rock.

At the end of the day, it was still just a summer popcorn flick. Yeah...it took itself more seriously than most other films in the same genre but it was never meant to be anything more than a superhero film.

I will never get people who try to hold Nolan's Batman films to a higher standard than the Marvel films.

JMO - most of the people who talk up DKR talk about how it is a higher quality film with a better story and more serious character development... essentially they may be arguing it is a crime drama more than a superhero movie.

I disagree in most ways. It does take itself seriously but the quality of the performances, story, and character development is wildly uneven. If you choose to just ignore the people who think it is a drama I think you're better off and you can enjoy it as a less serious popcorn movie.

It's freaking Superman and Chris Nolan was involved

Producers get way too much credit. His name was added to sell the film to Joe Public like yourself. This was Synder's baby. Were the Star Wars prequels Lucas's fault or Rick McCallum? Enough said,
