This is why I don't get the hate for this season. It was mid-tear but certinaly worth watching. I don't think I have ever seen a season where the contestants seemed to still genuinely like each other in the end. That was different, I think it is always good when a season of Survivor hits a different chord.

No they aren’t but they are all different. Cast was good on this one, just wasn’t a great season. Good, bad or indifferent, I’m watching.

Inside survivor confirmed the season 50 cast list that began quarantine yesterday. Apparently there are two people from 49 on there.

There are certain aspects the fans were allowed to vote on. Like final 4 fire making was one I think.

Season 50 will hopefully deliver but it will be hard, when decisions on things in the season are made a year in advance of the tv airing

Well, the leaked cast was true. Not really happy about three people from 48 and two from 49 that we haven’t even seen yet. Not enough early players. At least we have Q.

It seems like Kyle, Kamilla, and Joe will automatically be an alliance of 3 if they make the merge. If you choose people from the same season, choose people who were rivals.
I’m okay with most of the older picks although I ask “who?” for a couple. Playing Survivor takes a lot of motivation and it’s not realistic to expect people to be as motivated as they were 10, 15, 20 years ago so I’m okay with skewing the cast to recent seasons if that means a better game. I was hoping to see a couple of folks who didn’t make it (James from Lafayette and Matthew who lost to lazy Jenna in the Amazon, etc.). I think a list of people who were asked but declined would be interesting.

They just need to change some things up. Each survivor seems like a rinse and repeat of the year before which isn't a bad thing if you have a great cast but the years you have a dog shite cast- it can get extremely boring.
Survivor use to have unique reward and immunity challenges but it's literally the same now.
Go through obstacle or dig up something in the sand, throw something through a hoop or land it on a platform, go over a balance beam, unlock your puzzle, complete puzzle
