I have been having problems with the subtitles on a few Netflix shows recently , narcos mainly. You only get 3/4 of most conversations and the rest of it either the subtitles are way to quick like just a flash or don’t show up at all. Anyone else? Is it a tv setting issue?

It was bad during Narcos Mexico .
Hard to read and the backgrounds were frequently too light to read the words.

Do you use closed caption as well?

Yes had same issue last night on ep4 of The Spy using app through cable box. Had no issues on first 3 ep using phone or on firestick watching the office.

I’m surprised there aren’t more complaints.

Narcos specifically but obviously they aren’t the only one.
