There’s a YouTube channel making Heir to the Empire with 15-20 minute AI videos. It’s amazing how real and lifelike (aside from some slightly wooden acting) these shorts are. Pretty well follows the books so far except for the prologue, which includes some rebels era characters.

I can’t recommend it enough and even though the first book isn’t even complete at this point, it’s already my canon sequel trilogy.

The videos are combined into “Chapters” for longer watches, but for purposes of this thread I’ll just embed the first part:

I've made this thread multiple times. I'm very into this page. But every time it fails flat, gets called AI slop and isn't really looked at. I find it incredible.
I just don't like how the chapters are all over the place.
I'm getting the story in pieces out of order. But it's great at adapting the book and adding in newer characters. I find it loads better than the sequel movies and can't wait for the whole thing to come as one movie.

Yeah. I started a thread about a different video called Beggars Canyon. Might have even been the same channel. Mostly got the same reaction.

And yet…

I love good Star Wars and will continue to spread the good word.

It doesn’t all have to be Grungelman & Blinkus.

This AI acting is less wooden than most SW movies made after 1998.
