Rockmond Dunbar as the sheriff is a solid choice. Guy has been real good in other shows I've seen him in.

Yeah....they didn't do all that well aging him. I mean, obviously a year passed in their lives between seasons 3 & 4, but between 2 & 3 only a few days or weeks went by

I'd say he looks about 3. Kids grow a lot between 18 months and 3.5.
