It may surprise you to learn that humans and dinosaurs never co-existed.

I think like the average lifespan of a caveman was 25 years old. And they could probably reach up to 40 years.

Don't think this is necessarily true. You're a scientist aren't you? You should know how averages work. Pretty sure that the reason that the average lifespan of cavemen would have been around 35-40 is a much higher infant mortality rate. Really one of the biggest reasons that life expectancy has increased in the developed world is because of a drastic reduction in infant mortality rate. Basically if an ancient human made it to adulthood, he likely would live about as long as a person today.

So what I'm saying is, your entire premise is based off of falty assumptions.

Did you factor in Fred's love for Winston cigarettes in his life expectancy?

Mid to late 30s early forties? They're all based off the Honeymooners. And Ralph and Alice were married for 20ish years.

Betty and Barney were barren.

The new comic had a scene at the Mayo Shaman.

"Slow sperm sayeth the spirits."

Also Bambam is war booty now and the order of the buffalo are the veterans of the war for Bedrock.

It sounds edgier than it reads.

In the live action movie, Wilma's mother was an older lady, so I'm confident you can throw conventional wisdom out the window regarding life expectancy.

If I'm not mistaken, Fred said his father ate red meat his entire life and died at the ripe old age of 38. I assume Fred is in his early 20s honestly.

in the movie, he said his dad "ate red meat every day and lived to the ripe, bold age of 38." idk if that helps or not

The Flintstones character was based on the character Ralph Kramden (Jackie Gleason) from The Honeymooners

Interesting fact on wiki.

The Austin Powers character was based on the character James Bond (Sean Connery) from Dr. No.

Which would be up to 10 years longer than your assumed average life expectancy. Does that factor in the infant mortality rate and birth rate? Because that has a large effect on average life span.

I guess you are right. I said upwards of 40 years.

My low number should be younger with factoring in those stats.

But the point still is that average life expectancy for someone who reaches adulthood is fairly stagnant. Its gone up the past century due to advances in medicine, but there's no reason to believe that a reasonably healthy adult caveman would die of natural causes at 40. Fred wouldn't have to be in his teens early 20s just because average life expectancy is 30-35.
