quote:I wonder how many people said this exact thing about 21 jump street
It'll probably have a few laughs but doesn't look like it'll be worth going to the theatre

21 Jump Street, while funny and somewhat original at the time, has ruined The "R-Rated Buddy Comedies" for now. every one of these looks the same and feels the same now.
The same thing happened 10-12 yrs ago when Stiller, Farrell, Vaughn, Wilson, etc were all in their heyday ...all the movies became rip offs and formulaic copies of each other.
Also, the bad/corny tv show remakes into movies will continue. Stiller and co. As mentioned above kind of started it, but they were remaking 70s shows. Now they're remaking 80s shows. And in a bout 7 or 8 yrs they'll be remaking 90s shows.
Just wait til 2022 and there is a Fresh Prince movie.

Ah yes.
I know exactly who he is now. An excellent supporting actor, he blends into his character.
I had no name recognition on him. And I was expecting an actor along the lines of the costar Dax Shepard...someone of meager talent that typically plays roles like the ones in this film.

Saw the trailer yesterday or the day before and thought it looked like a lot of fun. I'll see it.
