Well the current show definitely treats her like she is the next Wiig. They seem to be putting her in a lot of varied skits and trying to show off her comedic versatility.
So far though I liked Wiig much better than I do McKinnon, that may come with time though.

Is KM has been involved in the writing of these skits, she has a very bright future. The way SNL works, is if you don't write a funny skit, you don't get time on the air. Wiig, although I was starting to get SO frickING TIRED of her, is a great writer. If KM is the one who wrote that "Tech Talk" sketch about the Chinese iPhone workers, I'm impressed. That sketch was MONEY.
