re: Sneaky Pete Season 2 Official Thread

I wanted to resurrect this thread since the other one on the first page wasn't really a spoiler thread. A few people noted that they like how everything is set up for season 3, but I just don't know how much story is actually there.

Julia will know who Marius is, and I assume that Audrey is at least leery of him. Staying on that topic, I felt like real Pete not revealing who he was didn't make any sense. I get it from a business standpoint for the showrunners because they had to do something to allow them to have another season. But if we are strictly talking from a story standpoint, season 2 set up nicely to have Marius walk away. He helped save the family. Real Pete was sort of an innocent bystander who can now rejoin the family. So, I'm just not sure how they can fill 10 episodes with that part of the story.

It seemed like they were setting up Taylor's girl to be a focal point next season with her spying on her husband for the family, but then it seemed like Taylor was using that as a way to get out of the relationship. She wasn't ready to leave her husband for him, so he said she needed to stay away from Taylor to make the con seem real. I just thought it was his way of saying they were done. Maybe I looked at that the wrong way.

What are the other storylines that I am not thinking of? I can see them having another season, but it just seems like the main story would have to be something new that is presented early in the season.

ETA: I just thought of one. Dockery and the other gangster guy with the fedora are still alive. So, I guess they may come after the family after they let the girl run to Canada and the big body guard dude got killed.
