miserable old mansion full of failure.

Life has its ups and downs for all of us and 99% of us will never have a mansion that we could allow to fail. Blogger sounds like a douchebag.

Not to mention the fact that Cage still has plenty of opportunity to make more money per year than 99.9% of the planet.

get off your high horse and give the dude a break. the only reason you're hating on him for posting that is because you saw the other poster above mention something about it so you wanted to fit in and chip in bashing the dude.

its public knowledge that MOVIE STAR Nic Cage is in millions of dollars of debt. the dude posting that he was paying 120K a month in car notes isn't exposing anything more than what the press has already posted themselves anyways.

that is kinda sad. the playboy mansion one is also kinda sad.

THIS!!

Once Hef croaks, they need to tear down the Playboy Mansion. It always looks so old, nasty, musty, and 70s shag carpet-y, and this was back when the Girls Next Door was on E! Network 8-9 years ago.

Plus, Hef really isn't worth as much as people think. Playboy has taken a big hit financially over the past 15 years with everyone having computers. Playboy Mansion looks like a relic of his "hey-days".

Yeah the Playboy mansion hasn't been touched since the late 70's. It's like your Grandma's house- everything is how it was when she was younger. I remember an episode of Girls Next Door where Holly redid one of the rooms. There were faded posters of Playmates from the 80's framed on the wall.

Also, one look at some of those books explains A LOT about why that dude is the way he is. A lot of books about how to de-stress and gain control of your life.

"Potatoes not Prozac"
"Be Here Now"
"Stop Obsessing"
"Getting Control"

I got that too. At least at some point he had that mansion, and a lot more. And it's not like he's living in a efficiency apartment near the suburbs of LA. I'm sure he's doing better than that a-hole.

No one should feel sorry for him. He's a grown arse man who made terrible, juvenile financial decisions. I save my sorrow for people that do the right things and struggling still to keep the lights on and their children fed and clothed.
