Ok sooooo....am I wrong to assume it's now going to be just like last year in that it'll turn into a vets vs noobs battle? I guess it's different with the coaching angle because they know all the noobs and have even gotten close to them via coaching, so I could see some alliances. I just get the bad feeling that the new folks will freak out or get intimidated and be like "omg, we have to get the vets out"

i forsee frank, boogie, shane teaming up to get janelle and the other guy coach out

geez that almost wouldn't be fair, they'd absolutely run that house.

With the live feed can you watch the hoh comps?

i have never watched the live feed

Boogie didn't press it because he knows everyone will be gunning for him with his history. Luckily the challenge lasted til Showtime so I got to see the end of it. As a viewer I am glad I get to see people who actually play the game in the coaches. As a player, I would be livid that they essentially got 4 weeks of safety.

Still, a Frankless boogie team wouldn't have gone far. Jenn will never win, Ian only a quiz game maybe. Floaters only go so far.

Well that was shocking. One of the more popular players in the house was on the chopping block and BB pulled an expect the unexpected twist and yanked his arse off. Just like last year when Rachel was gone twice and BB saved her arse.

Aw man I completely forgot about that Rachel shite. Do you think BB does little things like this to preserve the fan favorites and keep viewership high?
Also good point above, the players got screwed here since the coaches just got a month of immunity. They're only playing like a third of the game the others are.

they have now done it three seasons in a row and its incredibly annoying
the coup d'etat that saved Jeff and Jordan two seasons ago...saving Rachel and bringing back Brendon as "America's choice"...and now this
just let the game play out

Don't forget when American's Player Eric kept Dick in the house when he would have been gone early.

After thinking about it, I can see why Boogie said no. The odds of him winning a second time are slim and the most any non-winner can make is 50k meaning if he doesn't win, he will make less than the 100k Coach's Reward.

bump for tonight. I bet Janelle wins HOH

These contests aren't made for big footed men. I remember Brendan complaining about that a few years ago.

excellent speech by Dan to Danielle
Posted on 8/5/12 at 7:27 pm to iluvdatiger
Danielle seems kinda surprising as HOH. She seems like someone who thinks she is powerful and is gonna do a bunch of shite but in reality is not really threatening. I don't see her as going to the distance in the game.
Who do yall think she'll put up? We at least know Brit and Ian are safe. And shane obviously ha

if she were smart, she'd put up frank, boogie and janelle
Posted on 8/5/12 at 7:38 pm to iluvdatiger
Everyone is talking about janelle being some huge badass threat, what am I missing? She's got experience, sure. But she doesn't touch Shane or Frank and probably Wil in the physical comps, and doens't have the social masterminding that Boogie does. I see her as a good, veteran player but they talk about her like she's maybe the biggest threat in the house. I just don't see it.

she won a shite ton of competitions on her season. If fact, she might hold the record for most comps won. so she can be a physical threat for sure
