This entire thread is making me sad. For all the bitching about how it ended, it remains my favorite show of all time. Its like I was invested in it.

keamy (sp?) killing alex really got to me. maybe that was more intense than it was sad but turned ben's dynamic completely. all of a sudden he was a sympathetic character.
it's one of my favorite moments b/c it was a total WTF!! moment.
in that same regard (ben cast as sympathetic) the "because no one else will have me" was pretty damn good too.

Yeah, that was ridiculously shocking. You think that Ben will somehow get his way out of this as usual, but instead he doesn't. The guy shoots a 16 year old girl clearly in the back of the head. I was silent throughout the commercial break shocked at what happened. I wish Keamy could have been in the show more since he was a really good antagonist.
