Russian Film: Torpedo Bomber (1983)

Available in full at link. It's a WWII movie about Russian naval aviators. Not what I expected from Soviet-era filmmaking. Little overt propaganda, basically just tells the story, and has some interesting interactions between the characters. The special effects are a decade or so behind what they were in the west at the time, but it doesn't detract from the experience. Overall, a well done film, and one I recommend to WWII buffs or anyone interested in foreign cinema.
