So I checked out the highlight reel from Comic Con on Aintitcool.com...

LINK

And the author of the page says "... there's some intrinsic logic issues here. I mean, how do we get enough primates to... even come close to taking over the world."

How come nobody get this? The Apes don't take the world from the humans. The Apes INHERIT what's left of the world after the humans destroy each other.

Why is this so hard to grasp? It's plain to see in the original Planet of the Apes movie.

People are such dumbasses these days.

That is all. Thank you. Carry on.

Thats the thing people are already thinking way to much about the plot before they have even seen the movie. For all we know the apes became smart enough and launched nukes and sent the world in a frenzy and took over. Surely the writers thought about what people are bitching about.

This one has a different premise than the original. This one is based off the idea of the genetic agent creating enough intelligence for there to be a war between humans and apes.

quote:

An origin story set in present day San Francisco, where man's own experiments with genetic engineering lead to the development of intelligence in apes and the onset of a war for supremacy.

Not really. This is still close to Conquest of the Planet of the Apes.

There was an uprising then the apes calmed down at the end waiting for the day man would destroy himself.

I don't see anything different from the trailers. There is an uprising but I don't see anything from the trailers that show the apes conquer the humans. I imagine it will end in a similar vein to the original. If they do allude to actual dominion over humans then that would be silly.

I also find the concept of apes taking over the planet complete horse shite.

I'm sure the chemicals that make the apes smart will have adverse affects on humans making them dumb and mute.

It probably has something to do with the army of apes taking over the Golden Gate bridge in the trailer...
