Any movie I see in the theater I want to either be great or terrible. I get a lot of pleasure watching awful movies. When I see mediocrity and no shits given, that pisses me off, especially from the likes of Spielberg. Spielberg is fantastic at character building, and thats my biggest issue with this film. I really think he phoned this one in, save for the Shining scene of course.

This isn’t a movie I’m going to be thinking about or really have been for the past week. It’s just halfassed mediocrity that I’m disappointed they didn’t take further, since the whole film should have been creative as the Shining sequence.
