I didn't link the origin of the name Jessica. I linked the origin of the name Jessie.
Jessie's meaning is "gift or God's gift"

Two different names with two different origins and meanings. I have no dog in this fight...but it took about 30 seconds to completely destroy your theory. I wonder why you care so passionately about this. Especially since you couldn't be more wrong.

Considering the majority of people that go by "Jessie" are really girls named "Jessica", it is relevant.
Go ahead and keep overlooking that. Tell me more about name origins and other stupid irrelevant nonsense.
I've conceded that there are males that are named "Jessie".
However, the vast majority of people that go by "Jessie" have a vagina, period.
