Does anyone here use it and if so what package do you have, is it any good, any info you can give me on overall pro's and con's. I also asked on Gaming board but I thought I might get a better response on here.

Core slim with the $10 sports package

It's very good, but I had issues when we used it via amazon fire. We've since switched to Roku and it works just fine. I use it on my PS4 in my room and it's so smooth I forget it's a stream.

Pros: You're not paying out the arse for shitty cable, you can DVR literally every channel at the same time (but shows only stay in your "DVR" for 30 days), a shite ton of on demand content is available

Cons: You can have reliability issues if your internet isn't great, the 0:30-1 minute at least lag is kind of annoying if you're watching sports and everyone using cable is slightly ahead of you, no Comedy Central or NHL Network

The cord cutting thread and a variety of other discussions on the tech board discuss this as a cable alternative. Obviously your internet provider quality and price becomes more relevant when you do away with cable or satellite.

Getting a HD antenna is also a good move for access to local stations. The tech board cord cutting thread has a few extremely helpful tips on how to do the connections efficiently for different inputs.
