Confirmed by both Tom Holland and Kevin Feige, Peter was the kid in the Iron Man mask that Tony saved from the hacked drone robot at the Stark Expo.

I hate these kind of BS retcons.
You could just as easily say that the "Cash me outside" girls was in Iron Man 2.

Iron Man 2 came out in 2010 and took place 6 months after Iron Man.
Peter Parker is 15 in Homecoming (2017). Iron Man 2 takes place in late-2008/early-2009

Incidentally, if they want to bring back Ultron and have Jocasta appear, Jennifer Connelly plays Karen, the AI in Peter's suit...and she is married to Paul Bettany (Vision) IRL.
