For anyone that has not seen or heard of Over the Garden Wall, I believe it is one of the most autumnal shows I have ever watched and is one of my favorite when Fall hits. It’s a Emmy-winning 10-episode animated miniseries that draws heavily on Americana for a fantasy setting where two lost brothers roam the woods, trying to steer clear of the Beast. It’s funny, dark at times and the music is next level. I recommend it highly. Episodes are 11 mins each, so there’s very little time commitment

Sounds interesting. Hadn’t heard of it, so thanks for posting.

You mentioned it can be dark, what age would kids be able to enjoy it do you think?

This has become an annual ritual at my house as well - we generally save it for Halloween (or nearabouts).

This is easily one of the best animated series I've ever seen. It's not really 'dark', more of an atmospheric creepy in spots, but not in a traditional way - the overall theme would probably be the scariest part for young children, but they hide what it's actually about so well that they probably won't even pick up on it.

It's just brilliant all the way through, the music is definitely on point and the ending is perfect

And as for the downvoter to the OP:

Oh, potatoes and molasses
If you want some, oh, just ask us
They're warm and soft like puppies in socks
Filled with cream and candy rocks

Oh, potatoes and molasses
They're so much sweeter than algebra classes
If your stomach is grumblin' and your mouth starts a-mumblin'
There is only one thing to keep your brain from crumblin'

Oh, potatoes and molasses
If you can't see 'em, put on your glasses
They're shiny and large like a fisherman's barge
You know you've eat enough when you start seeing stars

Oh, potatoes and molasses
It's the only thing left on your task list
They're short and stout to make everyone shout
For, potatoes and molasses
For, potatoes and-

That's enough!

I’m just glad a few other people have seen it. Animation may not be everyone’s wheelhouse, but I really recommend this show to everyone, especially people who love autumn.
