She is not penniless. She saw her mom prep for her journey. So she knows how to prepare.
Notice she is dressed appropriately. She likely has items sewn into her dress (gold, jewels) that she can sell in the past for ship passage.
ETA: also in the books....it is the precious stones or jewels that help allow them to travel through the stones.

Lord John grey has the hots and in love with Jamie. Lady Geneva blackmailed Jamie into having sex with her and she got pregnant and later died in childbirth.

Pretty decent episode though. Glad his kid isn't staying though. Wasnt a very good kid actor and his character would have gotten old quick.

Agreed. I was so happy Brianna got to meet her uncle Ian as well. Would have been awesome if she could have met her Aunt Jenny as well.
Laoghire didn't even want Jaime. Remember him telling Claire that he actually tried to have a real marriage with her at one point. As best as he could considering he didn't have much to give then thinking Claire was gone.
ETA: And poor Brianna....being the last person to talk to Frank before his death and not telling him "I love you" back to him when he told her before she stormed off.
I'm glad they are continuing to show just how truly evil Captain Bonnet is. You could say he is the most evil character in the entire series.

Yes, I remember she didn't want Jamie after her first husband. She is such a little bitch and she should marry Stephen bonnet another a-hole.

Just finished it.
I liked the episode overall. I didn't know if I was going to like an episode mainly focused on Brianna bc I wasnt sure if I even liked her. But that was pretty good.
I love that they both just happen to fall into the hands of the two worst people possible
I actually wouldnt have cared if Roger would have jumped in after the baby and we never saw him again.
And man I was hoping Jenny was going to be in the episode. She is one of my favorite characters. Was she in the book when Brianna came back? Imdb doesnt show her character appearing in any 2018 episodes.

I thought they could have got a better Roger too. He's ok and all, but not my favorite.
