For some reason, this clip has been edited. In the original, his sister (w/his brother in law, they're the smiling couple outside the courthouse) has a line: "Dick said he'd meet us back home"

And after he gets nervous seeing the cop car pull up, his new gf reassuringly says "Hey". That's been cut, though you can just make out Kimble's "hey" in response

Why the cuts?

Perhaps Lt Gerard can solve this mystery. He should have time for it now, since he won't be spending millions of taxpayer dollars chasing Kimble around the country.
