I can even see the changes in Peters body language. Observer-esque
Once the main observer realized what Peter had done, he slightly smiled. Probably a clue. Joshua Jackson did dress up as an observer for Comic-Con 2011.
Yeah, hopefully Olivia is the thing that keeps him tethered to this world though.. else I don't know if winning the war is worth the loss of Peter's humanity..

Any chance that Peter is September?

I think he'll end up being the guy Olivia saw in the animated episode. At which point I will

Don't we already know who Donald is? He was the assassin sent to kill the girl August liked. He might not be dead anymore in this new timeline.

Just getting caught up...and I think this is kind of likely, but he could be any of the observers.
Peter is really changing, the next few eps are going to be
What's so special about the monorail? They can't be tracked on there? Observer free zone? It's like, "we made it to the monorail, olly olly oxen free!"

Ok.. so this is going to be fun..
So we have a "Redverse" and a "Blueverse" in Fringe.. and now we know that the Observers exist in the future.
When the Observers were sent back to observe, we now know that September ran into Walternate in 1982.. causing him to not see the cure, and causing Walter to have to go over to the other side, causing a chain of events for the rest of the Fringe 5 seasons.
So in essence, the Observers came back in time, and unwillingly created a new timeline.. so if the Observers could create timelines, is it not possible that they created new realities as well?
What if the whole "Blueverse" and "Redverse" thing exist, simply because of the Observers interference, and the future the Observers are from is the universe.. BEFORE it split?!
I think it's safe to say that the Blueverse followed the original timeline, with the redverse being the anomaly.. I wounder if we will ever find this out? That would also explain why they can mess with the present without screwing up their future - they come from a future where there isn't even a split universe?
