I decided to write up a summary of the events that occurred last night regarding Austin's reveal of Julia to Jason. Hopefully this gives those who were unable to witness this situation unfold a better understanding of what happened.

**Background:**

At the veto ceremony, Jason stated in his veto speech that he didn't want his superfan dream of playing Big Brother to end. Austin saw this as a window of opportunity to try to appeal to Jason by telling him how much his veto speech touched him as a fellow superfan of the game in order to build rapport with him. Austin would then use that to lead himself into a game-related conversation where he could potentially work a deal with Jason to secure safety with him in the event that Jason won HoH next week.

**Operation: Jason**

When Jason & Austin were alone together in the bathroom, Austin decided to put the plan in motion by telling Jason about how his veto speech really "struck a cord" with him. They discuss how long each other has been a fan of the show and how much the show means to them. After telling Jason that he would have been cast on Big Brother 16 if not for his girlfriend, he decides to brings up the status of his relationship with his girlfriend. Austin claimed that him and his girlfriend broke up prior to going on the show and thus he feels comfortable doing whatever with Liz. Austin then reveals to Jason that Liz's twin's name is Julia and that he has a much stronger connection with Liz. Austin also implies that he would be willing to cut Julia if the twins became a target and that all he wants is to get to jury with Liz.

The problem with this is Jason never actually intended to work with Austin and was actually planning on targeting him next week had he won HoH. This conversation did nothing to convince Jason that Austin was somebody worth aligning with. Later on, Jason goes and tells Meg, Shelli, and Vanessa about what Austin told him.

Shelli and Vanessa obviously already knew that Liz's twin is named Julia, so they act as if they are surprised when Jason reveals her name. However, they were shocked to find out that Austin plans on pushing to get rid of Julia once the twins become a target in order to get the target off of Liz's back. They also suspect that Austin is lying about his relationship status so that the other houseguests (and more importantly Liz) don't view him negatively for trying to hook up with Liz. Jason also mentioned to the group that Austin made it clear that he only really cares about getting to the jury phase of the game with Liz so that they can spend time alone with each other in the jury house.

**Aftermath/Conclusion**

After Jason finished relaying the conversation he had with Austin to Shelli/Vanessa/Meg, Shelli and Vanessa went upstairs to talk with Clay about everything that went down. They now feel that Austin can't be trusted at all because he makes decisions without consulting his alliance and acts purely based on emotion. They also noted that because Austin seems to only really care about getting to jury with Liz, it is clear that he isn't playing to win. As a result, they decide that it's not really wise to continue working with Austin because he does not have the best interests of the alliance in mind. Whether or not they will make him their target is to be determined. However, this will likely spread throughout the house and make Austin a huge target going into week 5.

**Shelli's plans to turn the twins against Austin**

The most important part of all of this is that Shelli wants to tell Julia that Austin plans on betraying her in order to pull the twins away from Austin. Shelli will talk to Julia in the morning to ask her whether or not Liz actually has feelings for Austin. If Julia confirms to Shelli that Liz is just trying to flirt with Austin in order to keep him close and has no real feelings for him, Shelli plans to reveal to Julia that Austin wants to vote her out in order to keep the target off of Liz. If the twins turn against Austin, this could be a huge game move for Shelli & Clay that secures the twins' trust/loyalty moving forward.
