P2 has a very dry wit. He's not snarky. I love a dry wit. I'm surprised he's got any wit at all with the pain he's in all the time.

Bee, Hollie will be back on your TV screen in 2 weeks. You should go see the tour and get online the minute the tickets go on sale for a front row seat.

Glad you were able to find it. Volcano was awesome. That was easily my favorite Phillips performance of the season.

I hope you have a nice trip and look forward to more entertaining discussion.

Im learning that some of them are good friends. A lot of them are trolling and flaming me by sending "Lol" pics and every "U mad" picture ever created on the internet.

You see how long many of my posts are on this board? Well, what I am getting is pay back for months of long detailed text messages.

You have to admit that you gave them plenty of ammo for that.

Volcano was superb.

Trip will be just a one nighter. Taking a few young nieces to BR for the night to see Disney on Ice. At least I got floor seats and we're eating at Ruth's Chris, so we'll have a good meal. I only need 4 suitcases for the trip.

Isn't it in Shreveport or BR? I thought it was coming to LA. Surely, you can travel to it.

That sounds like a nice time. Ruth's Chris is always solid. That was the last restaurant I have eaten at in BR. Went there back in December. You can't ever beat a good steak imo.

I bet packing for trips with you is a riot

They are going to Lafayette in July. Just sucks that it is a Tuesday night or Wednesday night.

It's not out of the question for me to go to this. Believe me

I'm a riot regardless.

If I'm going with someone else in a car, I tell them to pack light.

If I'm flying, I have to pay a lot for luggage and, like I said, I've been known to ship ahead if need be for long visits.

Buy the tickets. If you can't go, you can sell them, for sure. You've invested too much emotion not to take off and go, Bee. You could leave work a little early, get there and drive home or drive to work early am. Do it.

I can picture someone bringing one duffle bag or a small suitcase and then someone like you showing up with hired staff to help carry all the luggage and load it.

Thats hilarious.

I have been on several cruises. The first cruise I went on, I brought two suitcases and a bag. It was a lot of stuff. I ended up only having to use mainly the clothes from one and my formal outfits. From then on, I have decided to only bring what is necessary on trips because the amount of stuff I had was ridiculous.

Except I ended up bringing way too many clothes again for my trip to the beach I went on a few weeks ago. I had more stuff then the girls that were with us.

So i am not necessarily always a light packer.

It wouldn't be a problem for me to go. I have made that drive several times. I would have a hookup at a hotel over there if I wanted to stay because I am friends with a contractor that owns a hotel there and I got to work on the construction of it a few years ago. Told me just to let him know anytime I was in town and needed a room.

I would probably drive back after though. Work at 6 30 am comes early.

You have basically convinced me. I think it would just make this all worth it to see her live at least once.

So I may go.

Possibly

You have a pretty accurate picture except I sometimes have to tell other folks to take something out and leave it at home.

One time, I decided to pack light and bring only enough for the time I would be on the trip. Spilled something on some clothing, so that was terrible and then decided to stay an extra day and had to rewear a few things. Had plenty of underwear, though, thank goodness, but NEVER AGAIN will I be caught short or without many choices. Nope. That's it. My family likes to tell that story all the time. "Did you hear about the time that Gris Gris packed light for a trip?" Packing is serious bidness with me! They'll be talking about it at my funeral.

I admire a man who brings too many clothes. I just can't travel with one.
