When the trailer came on in the previews before Iron Man 2, I looked into my popcorn for over a minute because I didn't want to see the movie. I want to be surprised and the the previews give too much away for me.

Totally agree with this and the previous poster. Once I learned about Nolan, Leo and Levitt being in this movie, I have restrained myself from watching all previews. I cover up my ears and pull the hat down when the previews come out in the theaters.

I did this for Dark Knight and for The Departed and it makes it so much better. Previews nowadays are like fvcking short movies; it's ridiculous.

how so?

it just dragged along. it wasn't nearly as good as the first. and the fact that Favreau felt the need to place himself in every other scene, including the one where Scarlett takes her shirt off (understandable, I'm just mad he got
to be there) really irked me.

i feel the same about your posts

my feelings... they're... they're hurt. really, I promise I'll try harder.

if you don't think Iron Man 2 was disappointing, then you must have gone into the theater vowing to love it, regardless of what you were going to see

ETA: "disappointing" doesn't mean bad. it means it didn't live up to what it should have been. the perfect word to describe IM2 is "meh"
