What is the deal when a DVD gets thrown into the "saved DVD" in your queue? I have movies that have been in there and not moved for over a year! I know one of them is close to two years!
I just selected a movie from 1963 with Albert Finney in it...went straight to the "saved DVD".
I've emailed Netflix but have never rec'd a reply. Anyone else have this problem?!

Simple, the movie either has never been released on DVD or it is no longer in print. It will leave your "saved" queue when it is available.

Ok then why doesn't netflix remove them from their line-up?

So someone has the one copy of "Tommy got his gun" for about a year?

Thats the thing there isnt a copy of it, its not available on DVD. Look on amazon.com, if they dont sell a new copy of it on DVD (region 1) then it doesnt exist. They are leaving it there in case it is released on dvd.

I see what you're saying but I think that's crazy for them to do that. If that's the case then they are making their "library" look larger than it is...I'm sure that's not shocking news to anyone

They also use the "Saved DVD" queue to see what the demand is for a particular film. It helps them prioritize their purchases.

Yeah, I've been pissed forever waiting for them to release "The Six Milliion Dollar Man" on DVD.

WTF? With all the other crap 70s shows on DVD..why not this gem? I loved this show as a kid.
