Right. Netflix just doesn't have the newest season so you have to go to Amazon and buy it anyway.

That's because of HBO not Amazon.

And you can get HBOGo for $15 for one month, binge watch those last seasons, and then cancel it.

Netflix doesn't have any of those shows. Not one season.

So instead of whining about Amazon Prime, just game the system. If $15 for a month is too much money for you, you should probably not have a TV.

Cinemax does the same thing.

Well yeah. I wasn't trashing HBO. I was correcting the OP in his assessment of blaming Amazon.

Amazon makes you purchase those last seasons because they don't have the streaming rights.

HBO would rather customers do what you just said and take a chance by keeping them hooked.

Yes and Netflix’s two day delivery is much better too.
Who in the frick judges Amazon prime on their video service? It’s an ancillary benefit AT BEST

With the HBO stuff they are contractually limited to things that are 3 years old and I'm sure part of the business model and reason HBO licensed them the content was getting people to buy the most current seasons. Just wait it out another year if you don't want to pay.

Banshee is not a HBO show. And I can watch all the Sopranos on Amazon and it is a HBO show.

Not saying you are wrong but its more than just because of HBO. Its because Amazon Prime video sucks arse

Banshee is a Cinemax show, who do you think owns Cinemax?

Well in this specific instance it's actually only because of HBO. They should have the entire show once it's 3 years old. You can either buy it from Amazon, subscribe to Cinemax long enough to binge it, or just wait for it to come to Prime.

Amazon's video library is respectable enough IMO, and there's a few worthy original programs too (I personally enjoy Bosch). But at the end of the day, I didn't sign up with Prime for that reason...it's just gravy to me.

For the record, I have HBO and Cinemax on Dish. But that doesnt change the fact that Amazon is a series baiting bitch
